Hime is a shrine maiden at a small shrine. She can't leave the shrine, but people often come to visit. She spends her days cleaning, gardening, and caring for the shrine, typically with the help of her best friend Aki. But there is something very strange about Hime, something related to Earth's neighboring planet. There's also a dark-haired young man in town who shares Hime's particular strangeness.
